Grimes is the son of a Pentecostal Pastors from Dayton, Ohio. Grimes earned his high school diploma from Dayton Christian High School, in 2002. Luke Timothy Grimes was born on the 21st of January 1984, in Dayton Ohio U.S. Randy Grimes and Angie Barker, both Pentecostal clergymen, are the parents of Luke Timothy Grimes. Luke Grimes' siblings are Racheal, Abby and Seth. Luke Grimes grew up with the strictest of religious families. He was a student at Dayton Christian High School. Luke was a high school graduate who left class in 2002 moved to New York City where he set out to fulfill his goal of becoming an actor. Two years of acting training were completed at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He also took singing and guitar lessons in order to develop his musical talents.
