LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American professional basketball player that is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, along with the two Olympic medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has the most playoff points, the second-highest point total and the seventh best ever assist number. James is a member of 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. James has played in 10 NBA Finals the third most ever, including eight times in a row between 2011 and 2018. James has been selected for his place on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists in his career in 2022. James played at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. He was hailed by the national press as the next NBA superstar. As a prep to pro, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. He was named one of the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Then he was one of the premier players in the NBA as he won both the NBA MVP Award in as of 2009 and in 2010. He was unable to secure the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to join with the Miami Heat this was announced during the TV program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions in sports history.
